Crafting Mystery Boxes
When choosing the Smart Mystery Box as the product type, users can configure everything from the Mystery box tab of the product page.
In the free version, users need to manually type in to add products into each assortment. Premium version helps them save time by adding multiple products in bulk from the product tags, categories, types (simple, variable, subscription), brands (
WPC Brands for WooCommerce), collections (
WPC Smart Product Collections), attributes, shipping classes, and visibility. Users can point out products to be excluded from the list in the box under these sources.
It’s possible to imply how many items to be picked per assortment and the quantity for each of them from the options. For example, 3 products can be chosen from the list of assortment 01 and each product will be selected in 2 units – Number of products: 3, Each product’s quantity: 2.
Priority allows sellers to arrange the items for specific purposes. Randomized order brings about the randomness for the surprise box. From High to low or Low to High stock options push items with corresponding stock quantity order for sale. This is when slow-moving or excess inventory items can be promoted. Or users can simply keep the items in the order of how they are added.
Necessary level indicates how this assortment will be treated when conditions are not satisfied: when there are not enough items with specified quantity, normal assortments will be excluded/skipped from the box and hidden from the frontend; required assortments will make the whole box unpurchasable; nevertheless, lucky assortments won’t be affected by the stock conditions. As implied by their name, lucky assortments can be added or excluded from the list randomly.
